I started racing in 1997 but bought a business later that year and only completed two races. Between 2004 and 2008, I ran a Dodge Viper with the local track day groups. In 2008, I decided to give it another try and have Griggs Racing build me a GT class car to compete in SCCA (ITE). We finished the car late in the year only to race it a couple of times. The 2009 season was really my first complete racing season. Due to mechanical failures, I was forced to finish the season in a lower horsepower/equipped Mustang, but we were still able to pull off the ITE Championship.
1997 SCCA – 2 races in ITA in a RX-3 – Finished 8th and 4th.
2008 SCCA – 4 races in ITE- 4 poles, 1 win.
2008 NASA – 2 races in SU – 2poles, 2 wins.
2009 SCCA – 14 races in ITE – 7 poles, 4-wins, (8) 2nds, (1) 3rd, (1) 5th, ITE Champion.
2009 NASA – 4 races in SU – 3 poles, 3-wins, (1) 2nd.
