   Race Schedule & Race Results

The Season

The 2009 season has concluded and another PDG milestone with the FFR GTM-R finishing Second place overall in the SCCA Super Production class, driven by David Ray, and Second place overall in NASA’s Super Unlimited divisions. Most of all, the PDG’s team of drivers secured the WERC endurance Championship!  The endurance team, co driven by: Chris Durbin, Keith Drake, Rod Powell, David Ray, Karen Salvaggio, and Darrell Anderson will continue to pilot the GTM-R in 2010! Adding to our stable of hot shoes is Mike Holland from San Diego, California.Mike was a guest driver in ’09 and proceeded to drive some NASA sprints, posting 1 win, 2 seconds, and a third place finish.

Last year was quite dramatic as the team competed in 31 races and conquered 30 races with not a single DNF.  This year, PDG will concentrate on a total endurance effort that will take the team to Washington, Arizona, Colorado, and Texas.  Running in California is still our focus, as we will defend our WERC Championship title!

2010, 25 Hours of Thunderhill

’09 was an exciting effort!  The car was great, the drivers were great, the food was great, and the volunteer help was the best!  The Pro teams were out in force, not to mention a few amateur teams showing off their ‘A’ game.  Falling victim to a failing transaxle, the #4 GTM retired after a great competitive effort running in the top 3-7 most of the race.  This year will be our year of victory as we work hard through the ’10 season and once again take on the competition at the 25!

Words From:  Max Hyatt

Richard Migliori has truly built a fantastic race car. I have been privileged to drive many different forms of race cars in many venues but testing Richard’s car was the most surprising of them all. I cannot believe Richard and his team has been able to build such a sophisticated race car in his garage. There is so much love and passion poured into the construction of this vehicle which sets it apart from any other car I have ever driven. The car itself is a true prototype, maybe not as fast but certainly far easier to drive and much more forgiving. It was a pleasure to test the car at Thunderhilll and I look forward to participating in my first enduro with Richard in late June.

New for 2010

The new race season brings a variety of adventures.  A new member of the PDG family is Mendeola Transaxles.  Mike Mendeola, owner and trans expert, bringing expertise from desert racing to the world of road racing. PDG and Mendeola formed a partnership this year to develop a street version of their very dependable five and six speed transaxles.  Ian Kirkland is heading this project for Mendeola and we are predicting great things to happen in the kit car world and road racing alike. Ian and PDG will be working together to construct and test the transaxle in this extreme environment.
